This is the dramatic moment a pregnant woman mowed down a fleeing man she accused of stealing a purse from her car in a Walmart parking lot.
Christine Braswell, 26, said the man - identified as Robert Raines - was rummaging through her SUV picking her valuables from the vehicle in Asheville, North Carolina.
After she started chasing the man on foot, she quickly realized being five months pregnant she could not keep up the pace, so she got in her car and ran him over in footage captured on camera.

Read this earlier. My wife did not share my seeing justice in this report. Too bad thief lived. Guessing charge against her will be dropped. Should be. She initially risked pregnancy, even all of this is unnecessary stress.

I think this story is going viral. This is the third place I’ve seen it in just the past 15 minutes. Maybe people just like a feel-good story. It was on Fox and Friends this morning, so by the time it hits their air it already has gone viral.
She will probably be charged with vehicular assault and plead it down to careless driving.
No matter how feel good this is, and it does feel very good, this type of behavior needs to be discouraged.
