British schoolboys don skirts amid shorts ban in heatwave

Boys at a British high school have found a novel way around strict uniform rules banning shorts, as the country swelters through a heatwave. The schoolboys at Isca Academy in the southwestern city of Exeter donned skirts instead of the officially mandated gray slacks. Photos in British media show the boys wearing short-sleeved white shirts, school ties and the gray and white plaid skirts that the girls wear. Devon County Council spokesman David Beasley said about 30 boys turned up to school in skirts on Thursday, when temperatures dropped to a cool 20 degrees Celsius (68F) after days of much hotter weather. None of the skirted students was punished, he said.

On one hand - Stupid school rules.

On the other - With all these "ooh, it's hot in the summer" headlines, apparently it's never gotten above 75 degrees in Europe in the entire history of the world.

With the amount of Millenial feminized men out there...it’s no wonder that the generation after has no balls nor respect for oneself either.

Next, the effeminized English ‘boys’ will be wearing training bras and sanitary napkins.

Had to wear long pants. Had to keep shirt tucked in. No air conditioning, just open windows held up with a ruler. We survived.
This was Georgia, where it typically stays at or above 90°, 80% humidity from April to September. No sympathy for faggy little snowflakes.

The muslim invaders will enjoy the British schoolboys in skirts.

Better solution: the Utilikilt.

Rugged, lghtweight cotton kilts with snaps -- and lotsa pockets!

Love mine! Sure beats 7+yards of heavy wool Clan Macpherson tartan wrapped around ma fanny in these hot Texas summers!

As a frequent traveler to Europe for business, I can attest to the fact that interior continental Europe can get sweltering and unbearable at times in the summer. This is worsened by the lack of easily available air-conditioned places, unlike in the good-ole USA....

Yup. And a lack of fans as well. Better pack a portable AC unit. 220 of course with a myriad of adapters. ;-)

Mine's in the super-tough Carhartt tan overall cloth. Virtually indestructible. Plenty of big pocket room for my HK P7M8...

Kilts are a holdover from way back in time when men wore skirts and women wore trousers. In the Bible, it mentions about men getting ready to fight who would gird up their loins - wrap a belt between their legs to hold up the cloth so they could move easier.
