HOORAY! We lost again!!!
A reliable source of humor after Democrats lose elections is Vox writer Matthew Yglesias. A month ago Yglesias was celebrating the loss of the democrat in the Montana special congressional election by declaring his loss to really mean a win for democrats. Yglesias continued mining this political comedy vein by declaring that the loss of Jon Ossoff in the George 6th Congressional District special election, after the party blew over $30 million on his campaign, really means that the "Republicans are in trouble."

We need to get in more trouble then.
As Napoleon said right after Waterloo — “Now I have the British right where I want them!”
As Hitler said as his troops retreated from Stalingrad — “Those Russians are in trouble now!”
If you tell a lie enough times, you will believe it.
And all of those Hollywood know-it-alls "helping"? Republicans thank you. That worked as well as when hillary brought LeBron, JayZ, and Beyoncé to rallies in Cleveland to tell folks in NE OH how to vote.
The biggest challenge we face now is convincing DC 'pubs they actually have to govern. They've just won four HOR elections while being part of the problem.
"An Irishman named Murphy said 'I'll stop that iron horse' as he stood athwart its passage and it crushed him dead, of course."
It’s hilarious they try to equate a “close loss” vs a no name non-incumbent Republican running against a Democrat getting national media attention 24/7 and 20-40x more donations than they would otherwise get compared to what will occur in 2018 - which is a Republican incumbent with name recognition, money, etc running a no-body Democrat with a million bucks to spend in total.
Yet more #FakeNews from the party of lies.
Marsha M. on Fox News “The Story” last night was saying that since Tom Price won by so much more than Handel, it was not good for Republicans.
She does not understand that special elections do not represent standard ones and that an incumbent has a huge % advantage over a non-incumbent regardless of party.
Libs just crack me up. This guy fails to see the irony and revels in his ignorance.
Why yes ossoff, she isn’t since you don’t live in the district.
We're Great and you suck
We're Great and you suck
Ok, full disclosure, we're not that great
But never the less
YOU SUCK!
Black Knight: Alright, we’ll call it a draw.
King Arthur: Come, Patsy!
Black Knight: Oh, oh I see. Running away, eh?! You yellow bastards! Come back here and take what’s coming to you! I’ll bite your legs off!!
[Fade to black.]
LOL!
A minor nit to pick: Hadn't Ms. Handel previously served in Georgia's state government? While she was certainly a non-incumbent, she wasn't a no-name candidate.
True, true. You live in a different congressional district, Ossoff.
