Islam is a religion of peace.
We should not allow the tens of thousands of Muslims who engage in religiously-motivated terrorism to taint our view of their faith. We must not allow the hundreds of millions of Muslims who celebrate and support religiously-motivated terrorism to taint our view of their faith. Judging the entire faith based on those bad apples would be unfair to the dozens of peaceful Muslims who genuinely disapprove of mass murder.

The initial post was right out of the Holy Quran word for word.
Find a copy of the Holy Quran at least 30 years old, the older the better.
I first read a copy translated in the 1800s in the 1960s when I was 10 or so.
It was obvious to me at that age what we would at some point be up against.
I didn't think it would happen in my lifetime though.

If you read a "modern" "translation" of the Holy Quran, you will be conned into thinking it is a "religion of peace", as all the stuff above is left out.
Muslims are not "bad" people, at least not much different a percentage as we have "bad" people. Maybe a little higher due to inbreeding.
None of them are "terrorists" or "radical". They are just doing what the Holy Quran commands them to do.

You might want to rethink your numbers. You are a bit low.

When I left the business in 2012, there were over 2000 terrorist groups, active or inactive. The list of the very active today according to the state department is over 200 with about 60 getting most of the ink from the media.
In 2015 there were almost 12,000 attacks and almost 40,000 deaths related to terrorist attacks. And just because the numbers have gone down, doesn’t mean they are not out there. And the US support is getting bigger and more openly displayed all the time.
