BOSTON What Lexie Kaufman loves most about Emerson College is its academics. A journalism major, she praised that department and its impressive television studios on campus.
But she wont be returning for her sophomore year to the small, Boston-based liberal arts school, what she considered her dream college when she entered as a freshman.
Its a shame, in the end, she said in a recent interview with The College Fix. Its been nothing but awful to me.
Why so? Because shes a conservative, and the constant bullying from peers she received over her freshman year sent her packing.
It started during her first days on campus, when Kaufman faced the wrath of her classmates simply because of her political views. In high school, she wrote for The Odyssey Online and the conservative opinions she proffered therein made her disliked immediately at Emerson, she said.
I walked into this school not being liked by a lot of people, getting nasty stares, getting weird comments on my whiteboard on my door
she said.

Sorry about the all caps headline
She needs to find a good lawyer.
More liberal love... :-(
I just LOVE the tolerance that liberals espouse.
Good article. The comments are illuminating.
Basically, “We are tolerant of everything except what we are intolerant of.”
And that lawyer’s aim should be liquidation of the institution and all the assets of those who committed these crimes and those who chose to abdicate their responsibility to prevent and punish these crimes.
The days of proportionality are over. The only approach that makes sense is a scorched-earth approach intent on the complete destruction of the individuals and institutions on this Stalinist rampage.
Complete destruction - the only goal. Because of the deterrence value, this is the least-harm approach. Anything less severe will end up much bloodier in the end and with many more innocents harmed.
Central Florida University has got a nice lake with a beach and a big nature preserve/botanical garden. It is a nice place for school.
And you didn’t believe me when I said that the left wants to eliminate us.
Some universities would be best fixed with bulldozer, wrecking ball, and demolition charges.
Not to worry too much, she’ll get what she wants. Plus some of those peers will probably come to her for a job in a few years.
Liberal hatred and intolerance is nothing new. When a dog pees on a fire hydrant, he's not desecrating it, he's just being a dog.
With that in mind, if you put your opinions out in a public forum - especially amongst a pack of intolerant, hateful liberals, you should also be prepared to accept the consequences of what you're saying.
I was recollecting from my time during the mid 60s. No rioting at my school.
Leftists today are speaking as if they plan to commence to commit genocide against conservatives.
____________
This is my tagline. Ten years ago it would have seemed paranoid. It isn’t today.
All conservatives need to lawyer up when confronted with this sort of thing.
What convinces people is loss of treasure.
Fighting back in the courts.
The tolerant are some of the most intolerant when it comes to differing opinions
None at mine in the early ‘80’s either. I went to a medium sized state school in Michigan. It was OK to be conservative. I recall US flags flying outside dorm windows, professors who taught you to think.
One class, I had to create an advertising program for a new Bible for outdoor enthusiasts with waterproof pages.
Someone else killed it with the slogan taken from Psalms “The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the Word of our God lasts forever, and so will this Bible.”
I asked a young lady who was a friend of mine to join me for a quick road trip to go home to vote for Ronald Reagan. We celebrated our 30th anniversary in April.
That was a good road trip.
Sadly, the college has gone downhill. They recently opened a museum of Jim Crow relics. I’m sure it’s well balanced.
