“I love avocado, but why eat in on toast? My favorite way to eat avocado is to slice it open and eat it with a spoon.”

i like em with a scoop of salmon or tuna salad on top of avocado halves, said fish salad made with avocado mayo and a tad of Wickles Pickles relish.

The major brewers have bought or created their own microbrew brands. Big beer is not crying over less market share for Budweiser.

Millenials finally get some good press!

I suspected they had SOME redeeming features.

Die, Budweiser, die! Long live coffee!

I'll hang on to my bar soap (with no difficulty), but if you need to keep rereading the Dr. Bronner's label, you go right ahead.

BWW half-price Tuesday is about the best price possible on chicken wings I’ve seen in over a decade...and these are big wings too!

I started to turn away from Target a decade ago when they had some guy talking about the movie Hunchback Mountain - and he used the term “love story”.

That put Target on my Gaydar.

Perhaps it’s because our generation had bigger and better things to do with our hands then just type out things into Facebook. Using our hands LIKE A MAN on a regular basis likely helps in our soap handling skills.

I doubt that, most of them don’t even understand the concept of cooking. They do love my cooking though. When people come over, I get a lot of, “Best food I’ve ever had and you should open up a restaurant.” The looks on their faces are priceless when they take a bite.

I like Coors Extra Gold. And when the 30 pack is on sale it is far more affordable than any of those craft beers. Just saying, Coors is a corporation that is dear to my sense of happiness.

Diamonds are the second-longest-running hoax of our time, after “school.”

A few years ago my wife brought home from Bible study a raft of boxed Irish Spring, from an old lady changing her ways. While maybe a dozen boxes, I didn’t tell her the supply will probably outlive me.
Yeah, I hate when the bar escapes to the swirling drain, but I figure it is screaming “FREEDOM”.....

I’ve never been in one. We had two her. I noticed the other day that they are not there anymore.

People only go to Starbucks to say things like that to impress each other.

There is bacteria found on bar soap but it is not likely to make you ill unless, of course you eat it.

Diamonds are expensive coal. Their inflated price is maintained by a virtual monopoly. Man made diamonds will in a few year flood the market and will drop the price of diamonds just like the price of sapphires, emeralds and rubies dropped.

Never heard of Buffalo Wild Wings, must be an east coast chain.

The demise of the chain restaurants can be blamed on the internet.

Back in the day when you came to a strange town you were wary of the local establishments. Felt safer to hit a chain because you knew what you were going to get. Even if it wasn’t great, it wasn’t going to poison you, probably.

But now with online reviews it’s much easier to find a unique local eatery with good food based on it’s reviews.
