If you love your child... do not allow them to indulge in behavior with a 40x suicide outcome.
Stupid people. They aren’t fit to raise dogs, much less, children. And there are thousands more of these cretins out there.
BTW, the 30% pretty much aligns with the suicide rate for adult transgenders.
I know you and I agree ... these people have a problem. It’s deep inside, and can’t be helped by so-called “gender change”.

How utterly horrendously horribly ridiculous is that! These parents really do bear responsibility for their daughter's despair....
My daughter is going through this right now. Pretty girl, straight A student in all advanced classes, has an online business creating logos and brands, accomplished artist, enjoys karate, archery, and target shooting, and has never given me a moment of worry. Doesn’t drink, smoke, do drugs or fool around. Believes in God, regularly attends church, and is a strong political conservative.
Just a few weeks ago she told me that she is more attracted to girls than boys and wants to become a man. She sobbed, anguished, because she is afraid that God will hate her now. My husband and I are trying to approach this all with love and patience, telling her to wait until she is an adult and on her own before attempting any transition. If she was an unloved troublemaker looking for attention or a purpose, maybe I could understand it, but she’s very accomplished and our children have always been the priority of our lives. Pray for parents and kids in this situation, it’s like living in an alternate reality overnight.
I’m getting her into counseling. She asked me yo go with her. Pray that I can help her heal and find peace with how God made her.
Frankly, I didn’t want to overthink that part of what she said.
This woman is a sociopath. Monster.
After the suicide, did she ever say to herself, "Oh my God, I made a horrible mistake. If only I had told her to wait a few years, she might be alive today!"
I doubt that ever happened. Her daughter kills herself, and she thinks that blaming Donald Trump is an appropriate response.
This horrible woman could provide a case study in a new edition of M. Scott Peck's "People of the Lie: The Hope for Healing Human Evil".
What is with these lunatics? I was an avid reader as a young child. I was Tarzan, I was Annie Oakley, I was Tom Saywer, I was Scout, I was Catherine the Great, Queen Elizabeth, Conan, Pip and Little Lord Fauntleroy. But I was never confused about my sex. It never occurred to me that my sex limited my options.
What was the point when all I had to do to understand someone else, to walk in their shoes, to learn their life lessons was to read a good book? But, more fun than all of that was the ability to walk into a room, as a woman, all gussied up and turn men’s heads. Maybe not as enriching, but definitely more fun and rewarding ;) The world was my oyster and my understanding of men and women from all of my reading had a lot to do with it.
Denying a person their God-given rights, abilities and identity is indeed child abuse.
Putting that "G" word into the quote will give the Left a good reason to push this on the parents and other "Bible carrying Republicans", or whatever epithet O-blamer used back in '08. If they haven't already...
It was a bit unnerving.
Admiration sometimes gets tangled up with and mistaken for sexual attraction in teens, especially now that it’s practically lionized and encouraged. God will never hate her but some behaviors are sinful and will lead to an eternity separated from God. This, I believe, is one of those behaviors. She’s too young to be tormenting herself over this, she wouldn’t really know who she is yet even without beginning to have doubts in a sexual sense. Even if she does turn out to be sexually attracted to other females she can live a Godly life by not acting upon it. Teen years are drama years, everything is new to them and therefore a very big deal, so tread carefully. You have my sympathy and prayers.

I don’t think this child came to that “gender dysphoria” bullcrap. Imo, there’s a real good possibility it was forced on the child by the parent.
