More importantly, I read these kinds of things to my kids, so they’re completely aware of what’s being done to them and why. My oldest knows the game, and comes away with straight A’s. We mock the efforts of these “teachers” together. Whenever we know she’s free and clear of that person, we let them know they’ve been had. So easy to get a good grade from a liberal sicko! Most of her teachers are fair minded, so there’s no visible network (In Arizona) to be afraid of. I would place the lib/middle/conservative ratio at about 30/20/50, where we live.
Had a similar experience with my Daughter. She recently graduated from American University with a masters degree in terrorism and public policy.
Most of her Prof’s were fair but liberal, a few were self-proclaimed socialists and for one, she became his “teachers assistant” and helped edit/proof read some retarded book he needed to write in order to keep his job.
My girl is hard core conservative. She laughs at how stupid these people are but blows it off since their views aren’t held by the majority of her peers.
I tell her that she is the most objective person I know and that’s the truth. I’d like to think I had some influence in that but I’m more inclined to believe it’s the result of nature, not nurture.
