I keep reading about these people slogging through the Minnesota woods to get to Canada. But aren’t there towns in Vermont/New York state that basically straddle the border. I know there’s one where the towns’ library is partially in Canada and partially in the U.S.
So instead of trekking through the countryside, why not drive up to Derby Line, VT and then walk across the street to Stanstead, Quebec? No risk of hypothermia, wolves, etc. Call the Canadian cops and apply for asylum?

I’ve done business in Minnesota in the winter. That is not the kind of weather that you go out for a stroll in in a coat, jeans, and tennis shoes, ie, regular clothing.
That kind of cold is no joke, and you’d better come prepared if you value your life.
Why was a citizen of Ghana in the USA?
Any immigrant - legal or not - should be trying to get out of the country any way they can if they listen to what dems and the media say Trump wants to do to them and their family.
