Slathered in honey....cake to die for.
Where can I get some...?
Maybe the Pope shouldn’t make comments about DJT’s appearance...or maybe it’s just a funny joke. But truth of the matter is he has gained weight and I wonder if it’s the stress.
Trump is too valuable...I don’t want anything bad to happen to him.
Good point. Maybe it was constructive criticism.
Yup. But remember, the Pope is a flaming asshole. He sticks his nose in on issues that are none of his business. The jerk should stay home and polish his gold knick knacks.
He IS a jerk. See my previous comment.
Both the Pope and Trump grew up in an era when a comment about your weight was just a comment, not a statement implying moral failure. Trump has put on weight since he met Melania — perhaps he really does enjoy Slovenian food. I wouldn’t mind a slice of that cake myself.
Interesting. Tarragon in a sweet pastry.
It seems many a translation is lost from his lips to translator’s tongues. How often must these be explained and mended? Not, by far, my favorite POPE. Not that that matters.
LOL - Thanks, Liz, for the pic. Realize right off this....There is no heel to be found there.
If you go to Slovenia have the Bled Creme Cake or Blejska kremna rezina if you think you can say that.

You’ll be glad you did.
They should start serving it from the White House kitchen!
Looks like there’s an Italian version of it too.. it looks like a pretty tasty treat.

The WaPo bodyslam candidate has never ground the gears a little bit when shifting into another, unexpected language.
Because he barely speaks one language...
