Movie Review – Alien: Covenant

Should have been titled Beneath the Planet of the Aliens: The Next Generation.

Alien franchise is ruined, reduced to “don’t go in there” B-horror movie action.

I don’t receommend.

My son saw it and described it as an exercise in nihilism. No clear distinction between good and evil and then the bad guy wins.

Have you seen the Alien 3 Assembly Cut?
Completely different movie.
I like Alien 3 and 1 over all of them.

I have not seen that, and I have not ever heard of it either.

3, over a period of time, became one of my favorite Alien movies.

I saw Covenant last night too, and I also enjoyed that. Not sure what all the hate for it is about, it was pretty good.
