I don’t agree with you about Marilyn. The camera captured the beauty beneath the Hollywood glitz.

I’d also take Bullock over Roberts. I don’t think of Bullock as much of a ‘funny face’.

Even within a particular culture, beauty is to at least some degree subjective. I never cared much for either Marilyn Monroe or Julia Roberts regarding beauty.

She has “elements” of my HS girlfriend (who I hear has a Pilates studio now). Cruel buddies called her Big Red. Why would anyone name someone after a pack of gum?
Back then we could leave school for lunch, and we went to Steak & Shake, for those that know the brand. The place was full at the counter, tables and booths. Imagine how I felt as we went through the first set of glass doors, and could hear all the lunchtime noise and clatter, and as we went through the second set, the whole place went silent. What’s an eleventh grader to do?
But in sight, it must be right!

I dated a few like that in the day.
I had a buddy who would throw some GREAT parties.
Music would be cranked.
And I’d walk in with one of my girlfriends and it was like an E.F. Hutton commercial.

Agree on Maureen O’Hara!
Julia Roberts looks a bit surgically produced, sort of like Frankenstein with a marginally acceptable result.
Truthfully, I can’t think of a surgical enhancement (other than to correct a defect or accident disfigurement) that is an improvement.

My parent’s were having a family BBQ. This was the first time introducing my GF. She aspired to being a Rockette, so she wore lime green hot pants and a tank top. My mom was reserved at best, but my Uncle John was in full flirt mode. I hadn’t learned the ways of the world yet.

Haven't watched the video, but there is a good chance most of these are above the Hot-Crazy line, with some even in the Danger Zone:
