According to Wikileaks the CIA was meddling in the 2012 French election.

Remember this? French candidate tripped up in sex scandal...

Was that an intelligence op?

I can hardly wait for them to cheer when they have Charlie Hebdo once every week.

We'll just tell them that it was "Nice" that they voted for the Macron IslamoTrucks...

It's a Photoshop, mercilessly lampooning the young German skulls full of mush - but we'll use it on the French surrender monkeys, too. 😀

I thought electing this guy was going to put rocket fuel into the stock market today? I guess that’s the same fuel that was supposed to sink the market when Trump got elected.

It’s June 22, 1940 all over again. This time it is to Islam instead of Deutchland.

Possibly. This mentions that James Angleton's old associate Edward Jay Epstein looked into that possibility, though it sounds like he wasn't able to prove it was set up ahead of time: "Epstein later wrote that Strauss-Kahn now accepts that his enemies did not set up his encounter with Diallo, but believes they did play a role, through intercepted phone calls, in making sure that the hotel maid went to the police, turning a private tryst into a public scandal": New York v. Strauss-Kahn This indicates the accuser's motive: "In addition, the prosecution learned that, the day following the alleged assault, the housekeeper had made a phone call in her native Fula language to her boyfriend in an immigration detention center. The New York Times quoted a law enforcement official as saying that a translation of the call revealed she had used words to the effect of 'Don’t worry, this guy has a lot of money. I know what I'm doing.' Prosecutors said that the conversation, one of at least three they recorded, raised 'very troubling' questions about the credibility of the accuser 'because she discussed the possible benefits of pursuing charges against a wealthy man.'"

Thanks for the pings!

This weekend overheard some guy on his phone discussing the French election, he told his friend he thought it was very frightening that Le Pen “received a plurality of the vote.”

I would have compared Macron to Marshall Petain, but at least Petain was a good general at one time.

He’s closer to Pierre Laval.

Or perhaps Vidkun Quisling.
