Police in Oregon had to issue a "verbal warning" to a cat in a tree, reportedly armed with a gun-shaped stick.
The Newport Oregon Police Department shared a photo of the black and white cat that was perched in a tree with its paw holding a stick that looked like an automatic rifle.
Officers quickly responded to the scene where they determined the cat did not pose any immediate threat.
"Reports of an armed cat this morning were unfounded," police said. "The feline was contacted by our canine and was determined to be in possession of a non-lethal branch."
The Police Department ended its post by stating that the cat had been apprehended and was charged with several offenses.

Not a thing wrong with cops laugh at something funny. They whole problem with cops today is that everything has to be treated as deadly serious and jokes are forbidden.
In case you didn’t know, that’s the hallmark of totalitarian nations.

90% of the cops I know have a huge stick up their ass and would not now humor if it bit them on their bell end. That said, interacting with a LEO is stressful enough. The last thing you need is one trying to be funny.

Can top that. Had a fat ginger friend that went to a Halloween party some friends of mine were having. He had rigged up a 18 or so inch black life like dildo to hang out of his boxers. He got pulled over coming to the party. I think the poor cop was damaged for life.
