ESPN carried a Nats-Mets game last week. It was the first time I tuned in since the last time they carried a Nats game and it's the last time I'll ever tune in. From now on I'll just listen on the radio.

Whenever they air a baseball game the action on the field is always secondary to their inane chit chat and live interviews. I absolutely hate when they go to a split screen for a conversation in the announcers booth or an interview. I want to see the game!

Mets fan here and yes I watched the Nats/Mets game. My god the announcers were horrible. Made you miss Joe “We were the actual winners in 75’” Morgan and John Milner

That women who constantly compares her experiences in a women’s softball league to what Major League baseball players goes through was laughable.

And they would went on & on & on & on about Max Scherzer being such a competitor, as if the other players weren’t trying

Been turning the sound down and listening to the radio when it is the Cardinals on ESPN for a few years now. I hate the women they have on Baseball Tonight and the ones that are on during the games. They annoy the hell out of me for some reason.

I used to watch ESPN/ESPN 2 for hours a day. Then just for Baseball Tonight and the Cards games but now just the few games a year.

ESPN reminds me of the really great comedians who, when at the peak of their success start feeling inferior to “serious” actors and have to prove they are serious actors and commence to suck. ESPN people feel that they have to prove they are serious thinkers too, not just rah rah go team guys.
