I am a armature writer and it is truly sad how scared the writing community is right now of political correctness....
So what’s the terror angle now? Scare the victim with microaggressions and deny them a safe space?
But I thought cross dressing was like, totally in vogue right now. I’m sure they’d have a long line of cross dressers willing to try out for the role!
Gus van Saint says otherwise:
Image from Psycho (1998 remake, starring Vince Vaughn as Norman Bates)
Much like I expect that The Silence of the Lambs would never see the light of day in today’s PC culture.
It’s really strange. Political Correctness amounts to nothing more than total denial of obvious realities for the specific and sole purpose of advancing a leftist political agenda.
The new Norman Bates is white and [I have no idea what ‘superstar Rhianna’ looks like and I’m not going to do her the credit of searching for her name on the internet] I’m guessing his victim is black?
Shoot me if I’m wrong.
The problem with the article is while he wasn’t cross-dressing in that scene. He has dressed like a woman a few times during the course of the show.
This is crazy!
Not sure why the link to this did not came up

Why would Rihanna need to embezzled $40k?
As though another reason is needed to boycott Hollywood.
PING!
This could only be considered offensive if Norman Bates actually were a Transgender / Transvestite. He is neither. He dresses as his mother because he believes he IS his mother in those moments. Having him kill as Norman shatters the glass wall separating those two personalities and actually ruins the story line.
While I thought the original was hard to watch, this one will be one to miss, altogether.
The New Normal Norman is a man who identifies as a woman who dresses as a man. Women who aren’t dressed at all trigger his murderous rage, because nudity undermines the whole cross-dressing thing, leaving cognitive dissonance in its wake. And that’s actually grandpa in the rocker at the end.
I thought the intent was to avoid comparisons with Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Norman’s bedridden mother.
Was watching the first season of MASH on dvd last night.
In this episode, Klinger is finally granted his Section 8 discharge by Sidney the psychiatrist. All he has to do is sign an attestation that he’s a homosexual.
He is immediately offended, and vociferously denies the assertion.
Imagine the outrage if that aired today.
There are a few other episodes where homosexuality is ridiculed or otherwise used as a punchline.
MASH was on Netflix for about a week, and was then removed. I wonder what happened.... (not really)
All movies and TV programs are made with the express purpose of promoting an agenda. When the movie was first made cross dressing wasn’t the latest political hot topic. Today it is, as the creeping mental disease known as liberalism spreads.
So this would be what, the second remake? The third? Why?
Stupid. The premise of the movie is a split personality, with evil mother doing the killing. If that’s too confusing for the PC crowd, that’s their problem.
why call it Psycho then?
