Survivor contestant Jeff Varner who outed fellow competitor Zeke Smith as transgender on Wednesday nights episode of the CBS reality competition has been fired from his real estate job.
The Greensboro News & Record reports Varner was fired on Thursday from Allen Tate Realtors because he was in the middle of a news story that we dont want anything to do with.

This is a scripted show. I would say this is to goose the ratings like those shows on housewives who are always upset about something. The problem is that these shows will dig deeper for something more offensive next time.
I was glad to see him go. Jeff was so weak in challenges and whined every minute. Zeke will get a few weeks of simpothy before they vote him off. The merge happens next week so who knows.
The transgender was born XX and is pretending to be a XY with a bare chest and cheezy 70s mustache. The person outing it is a gay XY who was fired from his day job for telling the truth.
SeeBS, the Federal Communications Commission, producer Mark Burnett (married to oh so religious NOT Rona Downy) and host Jeff Probst blur out female boobs when they fall out of bikinis but see nothing wrong with not blurring out the transgender’s bare chest simply because its boobs were chopped off.
Everyone knew. The tv viewers knew last season because of the boob removal scars, wide hips and other tells. SHE had HER picture on the internet and a college newspaper article about her gayness. It had to have been obvious to everyone inches away from HER on the island.
Burnett (producer) lost this viewer over lying about contestants and showing this XX’s flat breasts. And that he always had more gays on the island than the national average. The show has jumped the shark, imo. I’m also finished with his wife, Roma Downy’s shows. She found a religious niche in Hollyweird but I was never impressed with her and felt she was using religion for a paycheck.
Tell that to the ADA, EEO, the Justice Dept. and ACLU.
Of course, it was or it'd have disappeared on the editing floor. That's what people are forgetting about. I didn't watch the show but do know the producer pushes story lines and tells the host to get the contestants to spill juicy tidbits at tribal council. You can bet your right arm that this was done. The tv audience knew about the he/she last season so Burnett couldn't wait to get it into the show. It's a fact that in the first few seasons, the producer photoshopped scenes or seriously manipulated them so that what was seen wasn't what really happened. Guarantee this transgender storyline was intentional.
I advise people to be careful, as publicity always comes with a price tag and the cost may be more than one is able to pay. One must also keep in mind that the media only exist to enrich themselves and does not exist to benefit anyone who may willingly or unwillingly step into the media spotlight.
