I.F. man arrested for allegedly punching girlfriend, shoving her into wall

The reporting party said Malagon punched his girlfriend in the face and shoved her into a wall and television. Police say the girlfriend sustained injuries to her face and the television, valued at $2,200, was broken.

Malagon of Idaho Falls was also booked into the Bonneville County Jail for assault, resisting arrest, providing false information to police and multiple Bonneville and Bingham county warrants.

Maybe it's just me, but when a guy with mutliple crimes and warrants is arrested on a violent assault charge, I think the newspaper should naturally question his legal residency status. The cynical side of me wonders what they are trying to purposely not report on.

Not much happens in Idaho and when it does it’s big news. An illegal punches his
girl is probably sop most other places.
