Set decoration is of low relevance compared to the story, the writing, the imagination.

I actually liked most of these TNG episodes. #4 is pretty good, as well as #3. #1 is pretty terrible. no comment on #2.

You mean TOS.

The last episode where they found Abraham Lincoln floating around space, I told wifey, “I can see why they went off the air.”

It's a Deep Space Nine episode.

If you're not familiar, check out the series. I know it's heretical, but I actually think DS9 is the best series in the entire franchise.

Big DS9 fan, myself. Best of all Star Treks. Garak was a simple tailor.

City on the Edge of Forever sucks

a lot of time from anyone who stumbles across it and is compelled to watch for the 50th time. ;)

Right out of the old Untouchables series.

Garak was played by Andy Robinson (no relation to Jim that I’m aware of), who also played the Scorpio killer in ‘Dirty Harry’.

Red, it was all about the superior imagination of the writers, the compelling nature of the stories. Today we have special effects winning the awards, many of which are cartoons. The writing of the script, the stories themselves are relegated to “The Guardian of Forever.”

I like your choices. All are terrible, though it is difficult to not include almost all of season 3. I don’t think I could narrow it down to 4 episodes only. Add “Let That be your Last Battlefield” and “The Alternative Factor” for an even half dozen. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen every minute of “Alternative”. It’s so boring I usually zone out before it’s over. I have the Blu-ray set and seldom watch these terrible episodes.

I absolutely hate the episode where Kirk fights the gronk, some guy in a lizard suit, in extreme slow motion, then nearly kills it with some gunpowder and a bamboo tube he happened to find laying around in the middle of a desert.

50 years later and the stench of it still lingers.

I 'continue' to be amazed by 'Star Trek Continues'. Here's their latest:

Vic Mignona, who started the series and plays Kirk (very well, BTW), is an outspoken Christian.

No list of bad Star Trek is complete without “The Savage Curtain”.
