Yep, I heard Schumer say last night that he was so impressed w/ the FC’s principles that he’s going to let any Obamacare repeal/replace plan they send over come up for a floor vote.

My hope is they learn from this and redouble their efforts and implement tax cuts ASAP.

I was listening to the radio a while back and someone said something I found interesting. He said if Trump did absolutely nothing over the 4 years except lift Obama regulations and rescind his EOs it would still be a success.

Many of us including myself have had high expectations. The Trump presidency has already been a huge success in my book and the MSM refuses to report it. Having said that I have no problem with Drudge reporting the good and the bad. That’s life.

The thing that bugs me more than the headline was the smug picture of Obama

No he hasn’t gone liberty but, what is particularly annoying is everytime I visit his site an app wants to install Uber or a game.

Only happens on my phone and only at Drudge.

Removed all browsers, checked for malware but, nothing is there.

He had this issue a couple years back

Hope he fixes soon.

Not really, sonny, pay attention

Saying “let it implode” means what exactly?
Saying free market means what? Insurance is
a regulated business...what’s being done to allow
a competitive marketplace?

I want every illegal and “refugee” tossed out yesterday
and every fed subsidized handout ended last week

I just want the counter argument to the “24 million
will lose coverage” line I am hearing every day

If these are illegal leeches, people who can afford
their own coverage, or people “covered” because
they can’t opt out without penalty or all of these let’s explain it

as much as a breath of fresh air Donald J. Trump is, he is not a God Emperor. Conservatives can disagree with him and that doesn’t make them liberals.

That is true.

Not to let the Republicans off the hook—they blew this badly. They had seven very long years to draft a flawless piece of legislation. But they didn’t.

However, I have my doubts that a clean repeal of Obamacare is a realistic goal. It just has way too many tentacles burrowed deeply into every aspect of our lives. Pull out one piece and another collapses elsewhere.

It was built to be as repeal proof as possible.

I think repeal will have to be done in parts. At this point, if I were the president, I just might approach Cruz and Meadows and ask them to go craft something that gets the job done. Say what you will about Cruz, he does have a brilliant legal mind.

Stop letting morons like Lyin Ryan fool with it. Get good minds with good values on it.

I voted for Trump, I support him and I think he's on his way to one of the best presidencies in many decades - but that doesn't mean he gets immunity from criticism. No president should be immune to criticism - these guys get elected to work for us, they aren't there to be adored. Backing Ryan's Obamacare-lite was a terrible idea and it deserved to be defeated. Trump should never have gotten on board with Ryan's plan in the first place.

The GOP simply doesn't have the guts to repeal Obamacare and replace it with nothing, reverting back to the same quality health care America had prior to 2010. Too many Republicans don't have the courage or the principles to face that.

Drudge is pizzed. That’s why. He pretty much saw all this coming and put the Trump administration on notice, before the vote.

So, because Drudge tells the truth that YOU don’t like, he’s a liberal. Drudge was the best news site for Trump for almost 2 years while he ran for the presidency.

Sounds like you’re not paying attention, genius.

I said earlier that the “tens of millions” or “24 million” DO NOT MATTER. The 350 million matter. Gubmint (backed by taxpayers) cannot subsidize that many people. Let them find out what is best for them AFTER the repeal. It is none of gubmint’s business to “help” them. Got it?

The customer is the government. That’s the way obama wanted it and tge way Ryan wanted it. McConnell also. These two can’t come out and say that or they’ll be labeled socialists.

Trump could not fight them. They are too powerful. Ryan’s plan that Trump had to go along with in order for Ryan to be put out of power by the people who hired him (the electorate -ostensibly) was Obamacare by another name.

Only now that the house’s stupid plan they whipped up after their candidate of choice, Hillary, was defeated, can Trump put together a plan that makes
economic sense. He might not do that but he couldn’t do it until now. Ryan is a never Trumper Never means never.

I’m one of the few that sees this as a good thing so maybe I’m wrong.

I do think that people are way underestimating Trump as usual.
Ryan was never going to put together a good plan. And he was never going to work with Trump he hasn’t accepted Trump as president any more than any of those women in the nyc marche’ll e against Trump for eight years. Ryan doesnt care about the electorate or their health care any more than he cares about their wanting Trump as president

Do people forget that? Or had Ryan become a respectful person when I wasn’t looking?

They want them say even though the President and the Speaker could not present a package all Republicans could sign onto, all is well and we can pretend Obamacare was demolished.

Seriously, anything critical of the President, no matter how factual, is met with anger and denial by many. They want to see everything is sunshine and lollipops.

It never made it out of the supposedly friendly House to the Senate and since this was a reconciliation, it never needed 60 Senate votes. Just a simple majority.

Trump on his worst day is 10 times better than a leftard on his best day.

Obviously, many of us want Trump to go much further. Fire, dismiss, demote, reassign, arrest, deport even greater numbers, dismantle, defund, reduce, deregulate..reform...REDUCE BIG GOVERNMENT.

DRAIN THE CESSPOOL!!!

“but Ryancare was Trump’s Bay of Pigs, his stupid move at the beginning of his Presidency. He either learns from it and plays out the remainder of his administration well,.. “

Your right, Trump will never let the Freedom Caucus lead him on the way they did again...After his comments about them yesterday, it’s clear he is done with them as far as ObamaCare goes and going forward will deal with a few moderate Democrats instead of the FC.

Can’t say I blame him!!
