I would much prefer not to get wound up either. I don’t like what I describe but I see it as inevitable. It’s been brewing for decades. I was talking the other day with a friend, and we discussed the topic of how it is that everyone isn’t bad, but it seems almost all or at least the large majority of the “leaders” or “big people” are.

It’s because non-bad people just want to live their lives as best they can, even helping in some manner or taking responsibility, but bad people have lust for power so they can own, control and exploit others for their personal gratification. So therefore they are driven to get themselves positions of power, whereas regular non-evil people are not so driven.

That is why Trump is so unique.

You’re description of the little guy strikes me as a good observation, but I don’t see Leftist little guys wanting to be good. They tell themselves that they do, and then they trash Trump and us as if we are the great Satan.

As you said, I just want to lead my life, be good to other, help out a relief agency and not tell myself I’m better than someone else because I did, and then go out and trash people who are very decent people just because they backed Trump.

They also slander at will calling others racists or misogynists, or whatever else they can think up.

I agree with your description of wanting to be a decent human being. Regular people are like that, of course it is a continuum. But bad people are driven by lust to control and use others, whether they have the ability to have a powerful position or not. We’ve all met those kind of people in small positions.... But those who lust for power like that, definitely gravitate to powerful positions one way or another.

I don’t see any solution to get through this without great suffering. And in fact, serious changes of heart are needed. And clearing the decks of those who are basically fiends in human form, from positions of power.

I don’t know how it is there, but around here often someone runs for a lot of positions unopposed, or no good people run. My county is extremely corrupt, but probably many are. The one or two newspapers are utterly corrupt, and their articles can make or break local elections. I’ve seen it. Sickening.

Believe it. We are all expendable on the altar of social justice. So what if a little girl’s life has been ruined? So what about the muzzie rape epidemics in Europe, when social justice is served. It is time for Trump and a hapless congress to get serious. There is little time.
