Tuesday Morning Vanity - The Good Guys Win... In the End
Myself | 3/21/2017 | George Rand

Among my conservative friends, they are split roughly down the middle on their opinion of Alex Jones from InfoWars. I myself believe his mind tends to be in the right place, but he goes off on tangents. I rarely watch him, but tune in every now and then to see what he has to say and I must admit he has hit right on target many times.

I was turned onto a long interview of him by Joe Rogan, another talk-show personality. I don't watch Joe but I have heard of him.

In this 3 hour interview, they talk about everything from UFO's to secret government plots etc. But Alex said something very interesting that caught my attention and I found it necessary to share it here with you all.

He says, roughly paraphrasing here,

"The good guys always win in the end - but it's in the end that that they win. The good guys are always better, more powerful and fight with more heart, but they don't assemble as quickly and effectively as the bad guys."

Now, when I heard this I quickly registered it. It made sense. But then I had a mental double take, and over the course of a couple weeks this comment kept coming back up in my mind as I read the news every day.

So I traced back in history, and examined all of the great dilemmas and battles, and damn do they all apply.

Even if you go as simple as early morning cartoons we used to watch as kids, with the cops and robbers. The robbers always had the upper hand in the beginning, and seemed to have it all figured out - but once the good guys got their bearings, they won.

To reference a time-piece, the Crusades were launched after YEARS of Islamic oppression and invasion of Christian countries. It wasn't until the Pope finally had the balls to get everyone together after YEARS that anything was done, and the Islamic regime was absolutely decimated and pushed back.

So we can see now how this quote translates to history, and I want to apply it to American Politics.

I was born into a Christian family- we weren't avid Church goers, but we say our prayers and we know in God and we do unto other how we wish to be treated. I have backed decisions on either side of the aisle, but now I know without a shadow of a doubt, that the liberal progressive bed wetter tree-hugger left are the bad guys. The liberal left certainly seem to be more cohesive than their conservative counter-parts, though they have their moments. They are very good at sticking together.

Then, November 8th came around, and people went to the polls. In the end, the good guys won that battle. Donald Trump was elected by an electoral landslide.

It is said that history repeats itself, and I hold onto these thoughts. Nobody said it would be easy, but as they say History repeats itself. This is a reoccurring theme, as is apparent.

I look back through the whole of human history as one long “bad guys winning” but in the end, Christ cleans their clock. I see this as just another phase. We will win a battle here and there, but the bad guys will come back, and “win”, and the war continues - until Christ puts an end to it, once and for all.

And FWIW, I think we are in the final cycle. I think it is going to get VERY bad in the next year or three. Trump is only human, and I think our situation is beyond a human solution.

But I’m really enjoying the overt frustration of the left that is currently on display. :-)

I would agree completely.
Although Reagan changed the world for 8 years after Carter, it still went back to shit next term with the Bush Cartel.

...it still went back to shit...

That is the default condition until the Lord returns. It’s like fighting weeds in your garden. It is a constant struggle. There is no “permanent win”.
