Technically, "12 Angry Men" is a jury-room movie.

Grits are a common dish in Balimer. Try Joisey or New Yawk.

Redgrave should have won the award.

It's hard to remember the quaint ole' days when Vanessa Redgrave was blackballed for being a communist PLO-supporting activist.

Today, she'd get two lifetime achievement awards.

Yep.. and when thet last time you saw a movie set is a small southern town in there was literally almost nothing about race

There is only one line that had anything to anything to do with race and it was innocence small and funny

And that’s when the prosecutor was defining for the jury the word “verdict” as word that came down from old England and “all their little old ancestors”..
And then they cut to a black woman on the jury doing kind of a small not offended double take..

That it for race, kind of unheard for a Hollywood movie for that setting

Flip side... found out all Southerners, Black and Whites, take mutual pride in their grits

IMHO, the original The Producers was the funniest movie ever made.

That’s the truth. Sassy, beautiful and great actress....of that I’m “positiff”. I can’t even imagine that movie without her and all the others in that great cast. We watch it all the time........along with Tombstone. We need to get out more I guess.....lol

I know......so sad. Was hoping for a part 2 at some point but it wasn’t meant to be. Really, you can’t improve on perfection.......;)

She’s the only reason I watch the movie - her “expert” testimony at the end is simply great......

This is how you separate generations. Millennials know him as the Judge. Boomers know him as Herman Munster. WW2 vets know him as Officer Francis Muldoon.

For extra credit, which actor who appeared in Car 54 appeared with him in a later role?

are you kidding me?

They don’t put more than one name on the winner envelope for him to “read the wrong one”

Watch it again- it is FULL of one-liners that are memorable

Yup. Being 35 miles that side of the Mason-Dixon line they like to pretend that they're "Southern".
