While Mark Cuban said he sees some value in President Donald Trump's economic policies, he's not a fan of his social stances — or the president personally.
"The economic policies of his that are pretty much traditionally conservative I like.... But in terms of him personally, he's the Zoolander president," Cuban said to a South by Southwest Festival audience in Austin, Texas on Sunday.
Cuban spoke on a panel alongside car insurance marketplace The Zebra's Adam Lyons. Lyons scored Cuban as an investor in his company after cold emailing him a one paragraph pitch.
Cuban, who called himself a libertarian, shared personal anecdotes about his experiences with Trump, saying he stopped supporting Trump after he "got to know him." He said there would be no appointment from Trump he would ever consider.
"His idea of efficiency is I would send him emails, his assistant would print it, he would write on it, and he would scan it," Cuban said. "He doesn't use email."
The entrepreneur also noted Trump doesn't know Google.
"Just think how efficient he could be if he learned how to use a search engine," Cuban said.
Overall, however, Cuban wants Trump's presidency to be successful.
"First of all he's our president," he said. "I don't care how he does personally, but I want the country to do well."

As for “Zoolander,” never heard of it, so smart alec Mark Cuban’s stupid remark was missed by me.

I was NOT a fan of Mr. Trump’s until he rode down that escalator with wife Melania and made that speech announcing his candidacy for the GOP presidential nomination on June 16, 2015, a date that will live in infamy!

As for "The Apprentice", my dad used to watch it on his lunch break at work. But that was only because the TV got five stations and only three of them had a decent single. So every once in a while he was on in the background at home. But otherwise I knew of Donald Trump and that his Marriages were tabloid news from around the time I was born, but I never gave him much though.
I remember that day here on F.R., I need to go back on find the thread and see what everyone thought at the time. I need to do that on the thread when Sarah Palin endorsed him too, oh what a day that was.
