Margaret Atwood is speaking out about the political relevance of her book The Handmaid's Tale in the era of Donald Trump's presidency. Her 1985 novel, which has been adapted into a series that will debut April 26 on Hulu, is set in the near-future and tells the story of Offred (played in the series by Elisabeth Moss), a woman pressed into service as a handmaid to a member of the ruling elite in a world where fertility is rare, making it her sole job to reproduce.

Ms. Atwood must root for a Republican in the White House. Her book sure gets a huge publicity boost. Whom are the people who luv to rent a wombs from 3rd World Women, or would exploit genetic engineering to make "perfect" kids. It is today's elite who are supposedly big fans of Atwood or were at a minimium had to read the book at their elite credentialing institutions.

She is a nothingburger pushing 80 years old. The Canadians dust her off every now and then, exhibiting her as an example of “Canadian Culture”. Is there such a thing? She is total dross, a hack one-hit-wonder, writing stuff to stroke the egos of the privileged elite.

I used to read her earlier books. Then I started watching her anti-American tirades on TV and decided I didn’t care what she thought about anything.

Her book is pure anti-Christian propaganda.

Consider it compared to actual Muslim culture, and you will see many similarities.

The greater problem is Muslim nations repeating this model in the modern day. ISIS has sex slaves that are treated like this, as does Boko Haram - in 2017.
Yet liberal secularists are still looking at Christians they’ve fought a century long culture war was would-be Taliban.

How true.

Muslim sex slaves, mutilations, and general treatment of women never get any press coverage. But the New York Times and fake news CNN have you believe that Jeff Sessions is a plantation owner where his Negro slaves pick cotton, and there's a whipping post when they get uppity.

Remember when there used to be all these Lifetime movies and "movie of the week" features about women caught up in nightmare relationships with muslims? There were a score of them. Even libster Sally Field made a very famous one in that genre. But these days nothing but crickets. That genre is non grata these days.

And many people connected Obama’s years in the White House with The Hunger Games.

The only good thing about the 1990 movie was Victoria Tennant in her underwear. I don’t expect anything as good from this latest flogging.

‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ makes sense...if the religion is ISLAM, not Christianity. That is the big flaw, which a liberal moron like Atwood will never understand.

Let’s see.

In her book the “elites” have one set of rules for the population and a different set of rules for themselves.

Sounds like Democrats to me.
