Yes, that’s right. I worked there for two years in the mid or late 70s. I never saw or met John Gambling but grew up listening to him. I was hired by Denise Richardson who went on to work in local NYC broadcasting. Nice lady (lesbian!)
My friend, Laurie, was the producer of Bernard Meltzer’s Self Help program. When she ran out of callers, she would call me up to imitate people with problems. (I’m not kidding!) She loathed Dr. Meltzer, lol.
