I just looked it up. They say production costs were only $1.5 million. That seems ridiculously low. I wonder how much it really cost to make.
No stars, no special effects, no crazy camera shots coming that need helicopters, no car chases, nothing getting blown up, no exotic locations, no adertising. Movies like this don't cost much.
