‘Anti-Racism’ Preschool in Seattle Will Teach Toddlers Social Justice

The two teachers say that that preschool education must go beyond singing songs and reading picture books. Instead, they plan to carry the discussion of race and racism all throughout the course of the children’s time at the preschool. The curriculum will include telling “the stories that are untold” and the earnest teachers will strive to actively change whatever pre-existing biases the children might have.

I noticed on a video regarding this school, the two gay lovers, oh I mean teachers, were teaching the kids that a black fellow invented the traffic light. Let me do a little teaching myself--

They are fostering racism at that point.

Kids that young are basically color blind when it comes to race.

They are pointing out differences that those kids won't notice for years and fostering the problem instead of heading it off.

I sure hope they teach against all the racism that exists against white people too, instead of the usual garbage that people of color cannot be racists, only white people can.

By sending the message of *Look what ________ people can do, just like white people.* they are sending the unspoken message that everyone else not white is not as good as the white people. That the white people are actually better than others.

This is going to backfire big time.

Some friend of ours have 6 or 7 natural kids and 5 adopted ones.

One day, the mom was visiting a friend who had a couple natural kids who were and one adopted kid who was from China.

The moms were discussing adoption and one of my friends kids said something like Mom!, She’s adopted? and the Chinese kid.
