A documentary criticizing U.S. Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton tied on Saturday with superhero ensemble "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" on a list of the year's worst achievements in film, winning four Razzies apiece.
The annual tongue-in-cheek Razzie awards, which serve as an antidote to Hollywood's Oscars ceremony, named Dinesh D'Souza's "Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party" as the worst film of 2016.

Saw both. Hillarys America was very good, but I can undersand why it would be hated by leftists. Batman vs Superman was just a bad movie and deserves the title.
Lex Luthor was laughable as the ‘villian.’
Best show of 2016 = Trump v Hillary: Dawn of Justice.
I liked Dinesh’s writings a lot more before he got so political.
Though it was the top grossing documentary of 2016.
I call BS. “B vs. S” was a great movie, not like those other slob movies.
Any movie that introduces Wonder Woman to ...ME...is a great great movie.
There is NO argument on this.
I only have one thing to say to WW...MAGA!
“Any publicity is good publicity.”
I agree.
The character came off as a petulant child not a villain.
But Hillary’s America rejected her on Election Day. I have to believe most Trump voters never heard of that film until news reports today on the razzies .
Affleck was decent as the dark knight. i would replace luthor for the next few films with someone else...even Gene Hackman would have been better!
Didn’t see the movie (and probably won’t). But I think James Carville would be a great Lex Luthor.
it probably means De Souza should get an Oscar
$40,000/year. He's got a pretty good racket going on.
Dinesh has been far lower profile for the past year than I would have expected. I know that he was indicted in 2014 for violating election laws, a trumped up charge if there ever was one, but I don’t know if he was ever locked up over it.
This indictment alone may have been enough to keep him from being invited on more talk shows. Another erstwhile political prisoner or casualty of the Obama Era.
My personal memory of that film is that I could not hold back my tears as the ending music played while wondering if we would ever be able to be free again after November 8th.
About 3 a.m. on the 9th I was smiling ear to ear!
