PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A judge will let only one other accuser testify at Bill Cosby’s sexual assault trial to bolster charges that the actor drugged and molested a woman at his estate near Philadelphia.
The pivotal ruling Friday by a Pennsylvania judge means prosecutors cannot call 12 other women to try to show that the 79-year-old comedian has a history of similar “bad acts.”
Cosby is set to go on trial in June over the 2005 complaint by former Temple University employee Andrea Constand, who is now a massage therapist in Toronto.

Having been a juror, I for the most part do not approve. The question is not whether Bill Cosby is a sleazy rapist who has drugged women and then raped them. The question is whether Bill Cosby raped a particular woman on a particular occasion. Prove the charge with evidence about the (alleged) crime. If the defense claims character, then his past is relevant. Otherwise I don’t think it is.
We have a local TV station that is re running his shows. I mean ... really???
This is the accuser who sent him a gift afterwards. Very common among rape victims who are dealing with the trauma, and also hope to preserve their access to the wealthiest black actor at that time. /s

MSM will be running the BILL COSBY trial day and night in order to diminish PRESIDENT TRUMP’S agenda. That is what they did with the OJ trial.

I'm inclined,for several reasons,to believe that these charges against him are unfounded.However,I recall having read years ago...when I was young and at least somewhat immoral...having read in Playboy that Cosby was a regular guest at the "Playboy Mansion",a place where unspeakable debauchery was the norm...by Heffner's own admission.
As a result of that fact I'm not 100% certain that the charges are unfounded.
I’m thinking Bill Cosby will end up paying a couple million just to settle. This trial plus the fact that he is functionally blind don’t leave him a lot of options for regaining his top level celebrity status. That’s not going to happen anytime soon if ever. If his status is ever raised up again in good favor, it may not happened until he has died.
Sad ending to a real talent, twisted though he may be.
There are numerous sub-plots to the story of Cosby’s fall.
Many having to do with exacting revenge for him saying un-PC remarks about black people. Eventually, it will become known just who the real catalyst was to this Career Carnage.
Yes, admitting testimony of other unproven allegations is prejudicial and opens the whole case up to being overturned on appeal.
If they can’t prove this charge, then testimony about other charges they also can’t prove demonstrates nothing.
My favorite was the accuser who claimed she was raped, and then later accepted an invitation to accompany Cosby on a trip to Atlantic City and share a hotel room with him. Rape victims do that kind of thing all the time!

Sure, but that can swing either way. After all, if you are a celebrity with an open invitation to the Playboy Mansion, do you really need to go to any extraordinary lengths to get your sexual kicks, no matter what your kink is?
Look what all was passed in 1994 by CLINTON. No one was paying attention. All eyes were glued on the OJ Trial...

That's very true.In fact,that's the main reason why I'm inclined to think that the accusations are unfounded: a guy like him,as rich and famous as him,could get 99% of the women he came in contact with if he wanted to.Kinda like with rock stars....you can be damn sure that none of the Stones were ever lonely for female "companionship" regardless of where they were.
The fact of the matter is if Bill Cosby had been Bill Clinton, he would be with the blessings of the feminists, walking.
He admitted he had at least 7 rx of Quaaludes to drug women. It was in a court of law and in a deposition. So I believe some of these women. Others, yes gravy train.
