Cosby,I've read,is worth hundreds of millions...if not more.Twenty....fifty....five hundred women...who had somehow crossed paths with him over the years very well could have,after having seen a sleazy lawyer,decided that it's possible to get a quick,easy and secret settlement of,say,$500K (or more) just by making a claim.

I'm inclined,for several reasons,to believe that these charges against him are unfounded.However,I recall having read years ago...when I was young and at least somewhat immoral...having read in Playboy that Cosby was a regular guest at the "Playboy Mansion",a place where unspeakable debauchery was the norm...by Heffner's own admission.

As a result of that fact I'm not 100% certain that the charges are unfounded.

Sure, but that can swing either way. After all, if you are a celebrity with an open invitation to the Playboy Mansion, do you really need to go to any extraordinary lengths to get your sexual kicks, no matter what your kink is?
