This used to p*ss me off to no end. I have some reservations about the vaccs being given all at once. But allowing this makes my blood boil.

My kids were REQUIRED to have a ‘blue card’.

Measles is not that deadly but it is very contagious. Natural treatments are vitamin A and colostrum. Vitamin A in natural things like cod liver oil can help prevent or cause a lesser case. Measles usually is mild and results in lifelong immunity. Having one or even both of the vaccinations does not.

There are so many things you can do, if your child gets measles, that will make sure your child won’t be the one in 1000 with serious complications. It is not chance that some kids get very sick. They didn’t do any of the natural treatments.

Measles might last a week, sequelae for a week or so after. Autism is forever.

Everyone should be anti-forced vaccination. If the vaccination is safe and effective, the vaccinated population has nothing to worry about.

Let the market decide, there’s enough info out there for individuals to make their own healthcare decisions.

This whole thing is rather ironic when you consider that all the vaccine nazis are themselves in need of vaccinations. They love to pat themselves on the back for getting vaccinated 40 or 50 years ago never realizing that they are in the same position as the un-vaxxed. But I am sure they will all happily line up for all of their shots regardless of how many are on the “recommended” schedule.

The next big push from big pharma is going to be adult vaccinations. All those vaccinations you received as a child will need to get boosters. All the vaccines that are on the new and improved “super schedule” will also need to be made up. It will be interesting to see the numbers “rejecting science” then when they have more skin in the game.

Oh, OK, I looked up aluminum in vaccines. As the mercury was phased out, the aluminum was increased or phased in. Aluminum is a neurotoxin especially when injected into the muscles. The only vaccine left for me to get is for shingles and since I have already had the shingles rash once I may be safe from any further flare up. Glad I got all my other vaccines and childhood diseases when I was young. Supposedly they need to find a replacement for aluminum in the vaccines. Somebody somewhere needs to get busy with that assignment.

The most vindictive and nasty names I have ever been called were on Freerepublic by anti-vaxxers.

You know who you are.

I remember reading about that incident. I just looked it up, it was 1956 in Boston. The Salk vaccine was a ‘killed-virus’ type, and one batch was made incorrectly and it infected 1,200 kids.

The Sabin vax is now preferred, and it’s a live-virus type.

I too managed to get both types of measles and the mumps, fortunately not at the same time. The anti-vaxxer’s kids can enjoy that just like we did.

We have had them,

However,

The vaccine schedule of today is triple the amount, or more if you are even older, than when we had them as kids.

So much stuff pounding on the immune systems of kids at such early ages. So much more quantities of,stuff than we had.

>Aluminum is in vaccines?! Is that a fact?! I have never heard that statement before.

Pretty common from what I’ve read.

You can ask for flu vaccines without this.

Oh no, I have to fight with my best buddy Pelham. :(

The strange enteroviruses like the one that caused polio are still around, and they probably always will exist. Most of the people who contracted the “polio” virus including my mom had no or few symptoms. No paralysis. Paralysis was the worst and rarest symptom. Since Vitamin C can reduce symptoms and some say cure polio at the start, maybe it can determine who gets the worst symptom, paralysis. Maybe other immune things can as well, like vitamin D.

People vaccinated against polio can still get acute flaccid myelitis. Young people tend to get these more, with the worst symptoms, possibly because many older people did have the enterovirus in question, but never knew it.

The next generation will have many more facts about vaccination, immune systems, our bacterial biome, and vaccination both old fashioned and perhaps a newer tech vaccine.

The sheer amount of vaccines given at once, the multi dose bottles that concentrate harmful adjuvants toward the bottom of the bottles (with pure chance determining which kid gets the last dregs), the insanely young age at which newborns have their immune systems including their brains invaded, cannot be good for our children.

There are vaccine injured kids, some dead. The government has paid out millions. And it is very difficult to prove these damages were caused by vaccines. It is difficult to go up against their attorneys, and yet some cases still get paid out. The manufacturers are not liable for any harm, the only product in that situation. Milder vaccine injuries, perhaps chronic learning differences, that were not suddenly noticeable within a few days of the vaccinations, don’t stand a chance of recourse. We don’t have all the answers but I believe the reason some kids are harmed and some are not by early vaccines may be the variation in their bacterial biomes. Maybe one day there will be a quick bacterial test, and parents can choose the right day or prepare For the right day for injection.

“If the vaccination is safe and effective, the vaccinated population has nothing to worry about.”

Not exactly. Some people can still catch a disease despite being vaccinated against it. Vaccines protect against infectious diseases partly by “herd immunity”.

If everyone is vaccinated then your chances of ever being exposed to the disease are dramatically lower. The disease simply has a harder time finding susceptible individuals in order to keep spreading.

Japan found that vaccinating school children for influenza reduced the death rate of the elderly. Herd immunity at work.

If anti-vaxxing gets popular enough we start losing herd immunity. The number of potential carriers goes up. Instead of dying out due to lack of “food” a disease can keep spreading throughout a population and finding victims.

Agreed. I think they could re-adjust the schedule, or parents should work with their pediatrician and spread out the dosages.

“and since I have already had the shingles rash once I may be safe from any further flare up.”

The medical types say it’s unlikely you’ll get a repeat unless you have a weakened immune system. Then you can keep getting it. I have a friend whose eyesight was damaged by shingles. It’s dangerous if the rash is on your face.

I was born in 1951 and I NEVER saw anyone in braces from polio. I knew two people that had it, and both were fully functional. .

This is one of those rare issues that both elements of the far left and far right converge. Another is homeschooling. Also mid wifes and home births. Strange days indeed.

I can think of three kids I knew from that same era who had shriveled legs and braces. Mass vaccination for polio began in 1955 and then the disease became rare.

Think affluent, educated, white families who really are into eating organic and complain about big Pharma.

Think of low income levels engaged in the Head Start effort where required multiple vaxxes to infants before their systems are ready for them has already damaged or eliminated the very susceptible at a very early age. My cousin's newly graduated college-trained social worker daughter left the whole shebang with prejudice through what she saw in pedriatic abuse of the little ones while she was engaged in close personal administration of Head Start in the Southern Tier of New York State, which is rife with poverty-stricken welfare-leaning families.
