This may have changed recently. I’d considered doing some time with the AF reserves a few years ago, but decided against it.

I got an email just yesterday from a recruiter, stating that they’ve relaxed some physical requirements for the reserves, including what sort of tattoos are acceptable.

I have none myself, but it seems from the message that it has been a disqualifier for some.
