"In November, police received a report of a woman who was driving a black Hummer removing items from the bin, he said."
Other articles indicate she was giving away clothes and stuff.
Which you don't actually bother to link to - you just send us to a generic Google search result page with "About 18,800 results" to wade through. No thanks.
Looks like a reliable source.
Not only that, you don't need a stool to put clothing into one of these boxes.
.
If you had to pay the fuel bill for a Hummer, you would be un-donating stuff too!
.
Took the words right out of my mouth!!!
"Bags with cloths and shoes that had been pulled from the bin were on the ground. Permar's black Hummer was nearby with the engine still running", said Hollenbush.
Looks like a reliable source.
Not only that, you don't need a stool to put clothing into one of these boxes - but the police chief said she was pulling things out.
It can't be "Darwinian" as she had already procreated and was beyond child bearing years. Regardless of what she was doing at the donation box, sounds like a horrible way to die.
Pick of the litter for her second-hand shop?
Took the words right out of my mouth!!!
Might be some psych issues going on. Never can tell.
If you live in Mt. Carmel, your house cost peanuts and your taxes are peanuts too. Lots of cash left over for a nice car!
ps: I checked this story out in her local paper. You will also find that a bail bondsman in the area is charged with bigamy, a rescue squad member stole a 6-figure amount from the company, and a mayor was cuffed and charged with desecrating a cemetery. Just in this one week. Central PA is really a very unusual place.
That’s what I was thinking. Imagine the profit margin. Rags to Riches.
“She was driving a HUMMER and fishing for cloths donated to the needy???? WTH?????”

My first reaction exactly.
Was she standing on a stepping stool or a ladder? Or both?
Whoa. Sorry. I was freeping for
A moment in a fast food
Place and probably
Didnt read the article. If she was donating that is an atrocious death. Less
So
If she was stealing.
I bought my daughter a used hummer h3 which luckily saved her life in a horrible ice storm. The hummer was totaled. Insurance actually paid me more for the car than I paid at purchase. the small h3 was a great car. I wish they still made them.
You sort of get clues by reading the article. You know, other people spotted a woman with a Hummer taking things from other drop-off boxes. She had pulled other items out and dropped them around her ladder. And she brought a ladder so she could reach inside to pull things, rather than toss things in the door. Clues.
My initial reaction was to not feel sorry for her, but after reading the article, I'm thinking she was not so much a criminal as she was a woman with some type of psychological problem.
Could be. A couple months ago my wife and I took a bunch of items in my truck to a Goodwill drop-off attended truck in a parking lot. We started pulling items from the truck onto the ground. A new SUV pulled up next to us, and some middle-east women asked us if they could have some stuff of ours. Various baby and child furniture and toys, games and clothes. They took it all. Stuffed it all into their SUV somehow. Probably to resell. We just wanted it gone.
“Permar’s black Hummer was nearby with the engine still running”, said Hollenbush.”
When I first read this line, I thought it said “black humor”, not black Hummer. I think my misread here is the actuality.
Going out at 2am with a stool and flashlight can be dangerous.
And that’s no bull.
