I’m not sure there’s much daylight between the democrat party and the entertainment industry, with the notable exception of country music.
What is the deal with country music?? Why are the stars so silent on Trump and the rift in America today? I’m actually surprised, because their audience is probably 70% Trump voters.
Don’t get me wrong, silence is better than political opinions popping out the mouths of entertainers. But why wouldn’t any big names perform at the inaug?

To my way of thinking REAL country music, the kind that existed prior to and during the career of Charley Pride, no longer exists. Real country music grew out of a type of life experience that no one really lives any longer. I cannot endeavor to make a connection between Hank Williams Sr. and what is called country music today.
