To my way of thinking REAL country music, the kind that existed prior to and during the career of Charley Pride, no longer exists. Real country music grew out of a type of life experience that no one really lives any longer. I cannot endeavor to make a connection between Hank Williams Sr. and what is called country music today. I don’t know which I like best, the Charley Pride version or the original by Hank Sr.
