Donald Trump Slams Arnold Schwarzenegger Again: He Was A Horrible Governor Of California

The Donald Trump and Arnold Schwarzenegger feud rages on. The Donald has hit back again at the new The Apprentice host, claiming he was a ‘horrible’ Governor of California. Oh boy! Hollywood life, com has the latest developments on their fiery, and very public spat.

The Donald Trump and Arnold Schwarzenegger war of the words shows no signs of reaching a ceasefire any time soon. President Trump escalated hostilities on Feb. 3. by trashing the 69-year-old’s political record. “Yes, Arnold Schwarzenegger did a really bad job as Governor of California and even worse on the Apprentice…but at least he tried hard!” Trump tweeted.

Follow Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump Yes, Arnold Schwarzenegger did a really bad job as Governor of California and even worse on the Apprentice...but at least he tried hard! 5:24 AM - 3 Feb 2017 17,479 17,479 Retweets 79,053 79,053 likes Trump’s latest comments follow just one day after the 70-year-old slammed the former bodybuilder for his poor ratings on the TV show The Apprentice. During the National Prayer breakfast, Donald called on worshippers to pray for Arnold and “for those ratings.” Schwarzenegger took over the reality TV hosting mantle from Trump following his successful presidential campaign.

Hostilities kicked off back on Jan. 5. when Donald tweeted, “Wow, the ratings are in, and Arnold Schwarzenegger got ‘swamped’ (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT. So much for being a movie star — and that was season 1 compared to season 14. Now compare him to my season 1. But who cares, he supported [John Kasich] and [Hillary Clinton].” Well, we can think of one person who certainly appears to care — guess he has nothing better to do with his time.

Schwarzenegger being Schwarzenegger, didn’t just take Trump’s diss lying down. he hit back with a video recording, offering to swap places with the President! “Hey Donald, I have a great idea,” he said. “Why don’t we switch jobs? You take over TV because you’re such an expert in ratings, and I take over your job. And then, people can finally sleep comfortably again. Hmm?”

Donald Trump’s Inauguration — Pics White House press secretary, Sean Spicer, has tried to portray his boss’ remarks as being nothing more than a “lighthearted jab,” going on to claim the President’s remarks were “beautiful.” He spoke out following the prayer meeting incident. “I think if you look at the totality of his remarks, they were absolutely beautiful,” Spicer told the media. “And I think to hone in on that it was a light-hearted moment he was trying to have with a big supporter of the National Prayer Breakfast and a personal friend.”

Is this a real feud or a publicity stunt?

One would think he’d be so embarrassed for his sham governorship of CA that he’d never want to appear in public again.

He was.

In fact, he was so bad that he ruined his movie career by being such a pussy governor.

The Pussinator.

Seems like a distraction. I get that part of Trump’s winning strategy is that he does fight back and doesn’t let attacks go unanswered, but this one seems unrelated to the Presidency.

The Donald has ALWAYS chosen his fights for strategic advantage. This is in no manner, way, shape or form a departure from his earlier management of tactics.

Is Arnold an enemy of the Trump Administration, and more importantly, of Donald Trump himself? Parallels may be drawn with the escalating war of words and exchanges Trump had with Ted Cruz, which ended with Cruz maybe not quite endorsing Trump at the convention, but with the door still open just a crack. Or it could end up like Jeb Bush, a devastatingly wide swath of scorched earth left after a forest fire swept through.

If you come to the Donald, you come on his terms. Arnold shall have to make a choice on how he wants to treat this apparent schism.

Well it is all relative.

If you are comparing him with Ronald Reagan he was horrible.

If you are comparing him with Jerry Brown, he was magnificent.

I think it is a distraction and that is exactly what Trump wants... He knows the media, they would rather cover this kind of nonsense than real hard news, and for that matter most of the low information electorate would rather hear this type of garbage than real news. So Trump engages in a tit-for-tat twitter with Schwarzenegger, while he is signing executive orders gutting Obama Era Dodd-Frank regulations with the other hand. And what does the media focus on all weekend? The pop culture nonsense, leaving him free to do what he wants on the political side.

I guess there aren’t many people around who remember Truman’s administration.

THAT guy took a real pounding from the weenies in the media and HE spoke with WAY more direct grit than anyone has since.

It worked then, too

Arnold was going to “blow up the boxes” of Calif. State government, as I recall. Instead, he ended up like those inept Jihadi bombers who blow themselves up!

We’re paying Trump to be President, not get into personal rants because some one doesn’t like him. Let him keep to the excellent work he’s been doing politically and just pull up his big boy pants on the rest. We’d be better off if he just put down his Twitter phone IMHO.
