FULL TITLE: Protests at JFK after 12 travelers are held overnight in confusion at Trump immigration ban - including Iraqi who worked as a U.S. army translator for ten years
One of the Iraqi refugees who was detained for 14 hours when he flew to the United States after Trump signed an executive order has now been released from New York's JFK airport.
Hameed Khalid Darweesh walked free from detention on Saturday afternoon after arriving in America on a flight from Istanbul the night before.
The 53-year-old had worked for the U.S. government in Iraq for 10 years as a translator, engineer and contractor and had a valid special immigration visa to relocate to America.
Darweesh pumped his fist in the air outside the airport following his release, as a crowd of supporters cheered him on.

What's the 90 days for? Vetting? And I'm not too sure how the green card system works - This gives foreigners the legal right to reside in the US? So isn't he bypassing law here? Don't get me wrong, I think it's freakin great being that prevents green card holders from going to a terror producing country to be radicalized and returning to the USA like the Boston marathon bomber did, but isn't this Trump bypassing a law? This is legal through exec. action? I guess so considering what B. Hussein got away with.

We must remind Mr. Darweesh that he is not a citizen of this country, and his protest of U.S. foreign policy is of no consequence to us. He is authorized entry into the U.S only at our discretion and his, and every other documented legal immigrant in the country, Visa may be revoked at any time.
We have noted his protest in his file, and have informed him that we will be keeping an extra sharp eye on him to make sure he stays out of trouble.

I was once delayed by American Airlines for 19 hours at JFK. I didn’t consider it a hate crime, or call Jerold Nadler. Big damn deal...he’s out now, and saying he loves America and likes Trump. End of story.
