With SNL being well known for “shocking” content pushing the envelope was she “directed” to write such a script or did she do it as an “inside joke” knowing her producers would say “no”? Serious question?

This wasn’t a script by my reading. It was hate, pure and simple she thought she could get away with because she felt safe in doing so.

She chose poorly.

What’s a Typical Week For a Writer at SNL?

Monday – Pitch meeting with the show’s cast, writers producers and the host. The host generally has the most say and input in what sketches they want to be in.
