See Post. 19. I doubt your pastor would have recommended it if he knew how nasty the language was. He should have seen it first before recommending.
Good idea. When I was in high school (early 80’s), all juniors had first aid, including Red Cross CPR certification. We also had to take Personal Finance, Hunter Safety, and Driver’s Ed.
How bad is it?
We still have the Red Sox.
Oh my gosh. In the opening scene, which is a police raid, it is continual like every other word for five minutes. Then it is all the way through, but not as much as that first scene. A real turn off for me. Maybe Boston cops really talk that way, but it’s a foreign language in my part of the country.
Thanks. Will try to see it this weekend...
I like him too. He's a good actor but as for being a "devout" Catholic, he supports same sex marriage. Kind of makes him at odds with church teaching.
Thanks for the heads up. I don't really object to occasional language but incessant I can do without. I only got through ten minutes of 'Revenant' for that reason.
If you think about were he works, this shouldn’t surprise you.
Saw it yesterday & liked it. The movie points out how the FBI screwed up. Everyone who wants to get away from Trump protesters on tv should take a break & go to see it.
I went today and you are right!
Well made......and even with the F words, it seemed to fit, I didn’t find it gratuitous.
Huge appreciation for the police and what they have to put up with!
A detailed account of tracking the terrorists......
....and the movie didn’t dwell on the carnage.....and it was carnage.....of the bombing.
Thanks for recommending it.
I am so glad that you went and enjoyed it. I was taken aback by the F word but cops...military....and just some people like to use the word. I have used it and heard it so I can’t be to critical. And as far as I remember, it was only used pretty much right at the beginning.
I’ve been to movies when language was gratuitous and cringeworthy...
....I don’t consider this movie one of them.....
It was simply a well made movie....
......and the terrorists were not sugar coated....no hand wringing
They were cold blooded, heartless monsters
I also appreciated that it did not linger over the injuries.....it relayed the horror with respect.
