Yes it’s interesting you brought this up, because I assume this lady I was referring to from my class is the type of person for whom science is her Religion. After I asked her about dark matter, I asked her what she does if students bring up religious questions. She didn’t even answer that. I mean the whole assignment she proposed is ridiculous from beginning to end. I was trying to subtly get her to realize that, but I could tell from her response that she had absolutely no idea. It’s complete nonsense to try to teach children that every question can be answered by science. But I guess that’s what she has to do to justify science as her religion.
