Germany urges EU to grill Italy over Fiat Chrysler emissions

Germany wants the European Union’s executive branch to question Italy over software that regulates emissions in Fiat Chrysler diesel cars.

Anyone who thinks this will go as a Germany-EU versus Fiat fight is guessing wrong. Italians will cling to Fiat and see this as a state-versus-state insult.
