Greta Van Susteren and Megyn Kelly are together again, with both women announcing last week that they had accepted positions as part of the NBC News team. And while the hiring of the two all-star anchors is being viewed by members of the media as quite the coup for the Peacock Network, Van Susteren is less than thrilled about being back under the same roof as Kelly according to one industry insider.

“A lot of cat fighting is gonna to happen at NBC.”
NBC is counting on it to boost ratings.

ME-gyn Kelly is on the shelf for the next 6-7 months. her inevitable FADE into obscurity has begun. Her ratings will NEVER approach the ratings she once enjoyed at FOX.
Her success was because of FOX and not because of HER.

Both of them moved from a network I haven’t watched in 15 years to a network I haven’t watched in 25 years.

Kelly is on The Today Show and van Susteren is on MSNBC. How does either qualify as being on "a news team?"
To: C19fan
Kelly’s one hour show is supposed to be during the daytime, so hopefully Greta won’t even have to see her.

The article is sort of stretching to say Van Systeren is jealous of Kelly:
That jealousy was due in some part to Megyn's rapid rise at Fox News claims the insider, which culminated in her getting her own primetime program on the network back in 2013, The Kelly File.
But they first met when Kelly joined Fox News in 2004.
2004 to 2013. Taking 9 years to get her own program does not seem to be such a rapid rise. Kelly was moved from the morning with Bill Hemmer because she could not contain herself from giggling and laughing and acting the fool when they were paired.
Also, the author seems to be a bit smitten with one of the two females, as he refers to 'Megyn' and 'Van Susteren' in the article.

I agree with you. MEgyn made a fatal mistake leaving big-ratings FNC.
Is that true? MEgyn won't be on TV / NBC for 6-7 months??

MEgyn will be on the Today Show? I thought she was going to “daytime” (not “morning”) on NBC?

A lot of cat fighting is gonna to happen at NBC.NBC's loss is Fox News's gain in my opinion. Tucker is going to steamroll for quite a while.

“Megyn may not even be on the air until later this summer because of her contract with Fox News, and over the weekend took advantage of her possible seven-month vacation by seeing the film ‘Lion’ and attending a post-Golden Globes Party at the Sunset Tower in Los Angeles that was hosted by her talent agency, CAA.”

I don’t see how this is going to be an improvement for NBC. It’s kinda like the Clinton Campaign, pandering to their usual base, not doing anything to try to win over those outside their usual demographic.
How is NBC going to grow their viewership if they keep hiring people who only attract the same type?
It’s zero sum.
