Wouldnt it be weird if the prophecy And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. was something like this? I've also thought for a long time that once these artificially intelligent humanoids reach a certain stage of perfection and sophistication, that they'll begin to exert a sort of autonomy or self-determinism that may well become a serious problem for future generations.
There's every chance that their intelligence capacity could exceed that of ordinary humans, at some point. Who knows if one or more of them will turn into a super HAL?
