I’m not much of a rock fan any more, and Queen was not my favorite band when I was, but I will agree that:

a. Mercury had the BEST voice of any rock and roller ever (there is not even a close second), and

b. “Bohemian Rhapsody” is the best rock song....

This man is not a close second, he is much better.

“Bohemian Rhapsody” is the best rock song.

One man's 'best' is another man's 'whatever'.

I love the song, Bohemian Rhapsody, but I'd never call it the best rock song of all time. I don't think there is such a thing.

I like “Bohemian Rhapsody,” but it always seemed like a novelty song to me.

I disagree. I've never heard of Queen or Freddie Mercury or Bohemiam Rhapsody. But then that might be because they were AFTER my time. I loved R & R in the 60 & 70s and then lost interest completely after that when disco came along.

My vote is for Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues, who has a great, enduring rock voice.

Nights In White Satin was and still is a classic that Hayward wrote when he was only 19 years old.
