Serial killer Charles Manson back in prison after doctors determine he is TOO WEAK for surgery after suffering from intestinal bleeding
US mass murderer Charles Manson is now back in prison after he was found to be too weak to undergo surgery after suffering from intestinal bleeding, media reports said on Friday.
The 82-year-old, who is serving nine life sentences for the 1969 grisly killing of seven people, including pregnant actress Sharon Tate, was reportedly transported from California's Corcoran state prison to a hospital in Bakersfield on Sunday.
The celebrity gossip website TMZ said Manson was supposed to undergo surgery on Thursday but doctors determined he was too weak and the procedure too risky.

He may have proven to be an uncooperative patient. Some patients who are semi-delirious or plain old cantankerous will pull IVs out. If they pull IVs out, the anesthesiologist cannot completely sedate the patient. An agitated patient will have increased heartbeat and in some cases, an elevated blood pressure. All these factors plus advance age, may have made Manson a poor candidate for such a complex surgery.
My father suffered from what the family now thinks was Alzheimers in his last days, he would pull IVs, he would struggle and thrash about, until the nurses had to strap his forearms down. Until this stage in his life, my dad was the finest gentleman I ever knew of. That disease, plus a primal fear of some aged can change the personality dramatically. Manson always has been a surly, ill mannered person, and a rebellious prisoner, from what I’ve been reading.
“’The patient is dying from internal bleeding...’”
Another report said he was bleeding from lesions in his intestines.
Could be an injury, rather than an illness. If you know what I mean.
Shame he’s still alive.
I hope the pain is agony.

I heard they postponed because they forgot to sterilize the fork.
I think they should try harder, give him his surgery so he can serve out all 9 life sentences.

‘Thats bigger than the size of a lot of small towns.’
My town in the last National Census had nearly Three Thousand residents. That is a number based on fulltime residency, ‘cause in the summer months the population doubles due to the hundreds of vacation properties in the surrounding area.
Three Thousand makes for a small town, but it also makes for a ridiculous/ludicrous number for convicts sentenced to death in ONE state that still sentences prisoner’s to a death penalty!
Exactly, but it is more than that.
Lots of people use mind altering drugs, and there are a bunch of sociopaths out there, but it is not likely that many people on LSD could be convinced to do that, or even be in a cult.
My point is that, the system will usually identify people like Manson, and take some kind of measures through incarnation or the mental health system.
But the system cannot identify the middle upper class suburban kid that would commit such violence.
I have worked with some very, very violent people. Not just your typical murderers and rapists, but people people that have tortured and people that have murdered with an axe.
Some from the moment you meet them, you can tell they are absolutely insane. There are others that are so damn normal that they blended into society to an almost invisibility.
Those are the ones that scare me.
Death by intestinal bleeding seems somehow appropriate.
He’s over 70. Untreatable according to O Care rules.
Pity. Like Castro, he was so...influential.
To quote Jerry Seinfeld, what a shame. ;)
You are very kind, FRiend...
He's bleeding internally, plus he is "too weak for surgery". Sounds to me like he's dying.
Yet he's back in stir...in a cement cell, on a cot, etc., watched over by a turn-key. I don't get it.
Is he in a bad way, or is he not as ill as inferred in the article...just wondering.
Leni
Exactly. She was a lovely young woman and did not deserve her end.
And apparently, she was pregnant at the time.
Do you remember this?
I was young at the time, but it was shocking.
Or her unborn child. The other victims Jay Sebring, Abigail Folger, and Wojciech Frykowski and Steven Parent. Rosemary and Leno LaBianca. One of the most notorious crimes of the 20th century.
The winning continues.
Actually, Charles Manson was trying to start a race war by leaving evidence that would implicate black people in the murders. Helter Skelter.
A few people died, but the movement never got too far. He most likely was an inspiration for Baraq Obama, who also has tried to start a race war in this country. Just a question of, can Baraq pull it off with just 12 days left?
My MIL, 89.667 yrs of age, has a very serious form of cancer.
The preferred method of treatment is surgery, but she is deemed a bad risk for surgery, so they did radiation.
The surgical risk stems from her cardiovascular health, the fact she is also diabetic, and her age.
So I get the thing with Manson.
Let him die a slow, miserable death.
