My FRiday Limerick:

The CIA is trolling Trump today
McCain and Lindsey have had their say
Hysteria abounds
Making the rounds
Can sophistry be the Dem's play?

Mr.Obama thinks his sophistry and prevarication provide an opacity of motivation.

Will the Obamas steal the drapery the way the Clintons stole the sofastry?

The MSM have a sordid, nefarious hist’ry,
Making deceit a high form of artistry.
As on Trump, Palin and Putin,
Those memes are so high falootin’,
They are Kings and Queens of Sophistry.

A prime example of liberal sophistry:

When the Democrats speak of the past and lie as a matter of plan, it is called "Standard Operating Procedure for Historical Recollection", better known as Sophistry. See reference below.

If a spool of wire can do this, why can't a driverless car?

The oft-repeated sophistry of the president, along with lap dog cooperation from the New York Times and Washington Post, has led the cacophony of “false news” throughout the mainstream cocoon, that Russia actually hacked the recent US presidential election.

Watch Trump tear it all apart for them and send them back to the trenches for facts. A++++

I read that the DNC never let the FBI touch their computers, so it’s all based on reports from the DNC that anyone hacked them. Really? THIS is what the report is based on?

sophist
1542, earlier sophister (c.1380), from L. sophista, sophistes, from Gk. sophistes, from sophizesthai "to become wise or learned," from sophos "wise, clever," of unknown origin. Gk. sophistes came to mean "one who gives intellectual instruction for pay," and, contrasted with "philosopher," it became a term of contempt. Ancient sophists were famous for their clever, specious arguments.
philosopher
O.E. philosophe, from L. philosophus, from Gk. philosophos "philosopher," lit. "lover of wisdom," from philos "loving" + sophos "wise, a sage."

"Pythagoras was the first who called himself philosophos, instead of sophos, 'wise man,' since this latter term was suggestive of immodesty." [Klein]
