Debbie Harry has always been uncommonly attractive, and still is at age 71. This, even after facelifts. Debbie’s natural beauty is on the same order as Vanessa Williams, the first Black Miss America. Vanessa looks as good as her daughters, if not better. Neither has gone overboard with ‘having work done’ like Kim (Frozen) Novak.

I’ve seen her a couple times in New York recently, and she is still great and still beautiful in every way. She has a habit of joining events for charitable causes, and not the popular causes that don’t really need any more money but smaller ones where her presence really makes a difference, like this show to raise money for a musician who is battling cancer:

Clem Burke overplayed ...too many standard rolls around the drums and cymbal crashes . Never liked one Blondie song . Harry and her entourage stood right next to me when I saw The Cure at Hurrah’s in NYC back in early 1980 on their first tour . Blondie & friends acted as if THEY were the essence of cool, but Robert Smith soon set them straight . The Cure : 40+ years of touring / recording , and fairly recently selling out Sydney Opera House , Beacon Theater and Pantages in LA + Royal Albert Hall in London on their Reflections tour . Blondie totally overrated band . And without all the makeup Harry was a 4/10 .
