I don’t do concerts. I do live bands in bars or ballrooms. Way better because the musicians are trying to make it to the big leagues, and the drinks are cheap.

I can’t remember the last concert I attended. We used to go a lot but it’s been a really long time

I just found out Charlie Daniels will be performing near me. I can’t justify $95 a ticket though.

Trans Siberian Orchestra.
November in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Best live show I’ve ever seen.

The Zac Brown Band (one of my new favorite concerts) and REO Speedwagon/Def Leppard, two terrific old-school bands from the 70s and 80s!

None. Too expensive. Gone are the days when they were actually affordable.

I went to see some performance art in San Francisco.

It was called The Wall.

It was supposed to be about a wino peeing on a wall, but the guy was a poor shot so he called it Wet Shoes instead.

TSO, Riverdance, Celtic Women, and Bands of America Grand Nationals. The latter is a national gathering of some of the best high school marching bands in competition. It is amazing that high school kids can achieve such a high level of musical and marching arts. If you are ever in Indy in early November, check it out.

I've gone to just a handful of real concerts in my 60 years. This year I had an opportunity to use someone else’s opera tickets. I attended Carmine and Silent Night at the Detroit Opera house with my voice teacher. Both were great, although I don't like Carmine as a person.;-) I also was really liked Silent Night. I was surprised, as it was a modern opera, with no memorable melodies. It was a great story and visually entertaining.
