Why should we move it? Lock it down and demolish the building. Let the remaining thigs and dictators decide where they want to hang out.

Given the history, I can’t believe Israel hasn’t done this review before which makes me think this is for show.

The UN is a great example of why the Electoral College is so brilliant and necessary to a Free people....

As far as the MSM goes with respect to Hiss and Duranty, it seems more like an attempt to rewrite history than actual disbelief.

YES, It is the only way to legitimize all the Tyrannical Dictator Muslim Thugs that head most of the World’s Hellhole Countries.

That’s right conservatives, it’s high time we play offense for a while. The communist left is reeling and unable to comprehend their rejection. Mash the gas baby, let’s roll. Fire the UN.

And for any squeamish “you’re an isolationist” claimants you meet, kindly remind them that it is the job of Federal Senators to make treaties. We can and should do that. On an individual basis. In my opinion.

Provide your argument about benefits of staying. You make a declarative sentence and nothing more. Provide the significant drawbacks you “cite”. Only drawbacks are for the diplomats and their kith n kin.

the UN had far too many duplicitous members who do not regard the US as a friend. We are nothing more than a pocket book.

Get the UN out of the USA and don’t give them much time to do it. Giving them too much time allows too much time for setting up duplicate networks among the hordes who want us to fail. Get them out and do it quickly.

Get the diplomats out before the computers go and recind all diplomatic immunity.

I've already argued the benefit of staying. We maintain a significant voice in the process. We remain able to steer international legitimacy rather than become a victim of it. FReepers might scoff at such things, but it's very real and an important strategic consideration. It's a huge reason as to why Presidents need to build international coalitions for war nowadays.

Only drawbacks are for the diplomats and their kith n kin.

You mean only one of the four instruments of national power? Yeah, who needs options?

the UN had far too many duplicitous members who do not regard the US as a friend.

So? We're on the UNSC, they're not. The US leaving the UN won't change their opinion of us, only allow them to sway the UNSC (which already has China and Russia on it, not exactly our biggest fans) against us with the full weight of aforementioned international legitimacy.

We are nothing more than a pocket book.

And that's not changeable with us being a part of the UN? Elections have consequences.
